Cooking with Cricut Blog Hop

If you are looking for the Mini Album Blog Hop, click HERE.

Welcome to Purple Monkey Moments, my little corner of the blogosphere, and the CookingWithCricut.com Holiday Blog Hop! If you've come from Becky's wonderful blog you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Cooking With Cricut and start at the beginning.

With the holidays fast approaching we are sharing some wonderful ideas and inspiration for your viewing and crafting pleasure! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original project made especially for this hop. Make sure to check out each DT member's blog. There will be prizes along the way at our DT members' blogs, AND there will be some nice PRIZES with a few different ways to win at CookingWithCricut.com!

I decided to make a Christmas Tag box. I think it makes a really adorable gift, and who doesn't need gift tages at Christmas? Here it is:

The cute box was made following the tutorial HERE. It was pretty easy! I was pleased.

The paper is all Stampin Up. The acetate I picked up at Michael's. that's where I bought the ribbon too.

I cut out all my tags on my Cricut, and laid everything out on my Gypsy girl to save some paper. I was so easy! The great thing is that if you don't have a cricut, you can still make this project. There are lots of punches that you could use to make the tags.

The stamps are mostly Stampin Up, though I picked up the little Angel last week in a $1.50 bin at Michael's. Cute, isn't she? I colored them in with my SU markers.

This is a picture of how my gypsy looked with all the tags laid out on it. Easy-peasy!

This little tag box took me about an hour from start to finish, which is pretty quick! I am going to make some for teacher gifts and hostess gifts for Christmas.

So, on to my blog candy! I am giving away a great stamp from Close to my Heart, and a great cutting file that Melin over at Cooking With Cricut graciously gave me to give away. Isn't it cute? I love Gingerbread cookies :)

Winning these prizes is easy! All it takes is 2 easy steps...
