Happy Monday everyone! Today is a special day over at Paper Playtime. It's our first digi Monday. The last Monday of every month we will be being sponsored by some wonderful digi stamp companies and they will all be offering prizes :) The theme for digi monday will always be anything goes.
The design team was lucky enough to be given some digi stamps from some of the companies to play with. I was a little OCD and ended up making a card with a stamp from 4 of the companies... I know, insane...
Here are the cards I came up with:
This card uses an image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils. the sentiment is from Stampin Up.
This sweet bird and sentiment are both from Doodle Pantry. She is purple - which my daughter decided was the perfect color for her :) I used a CuttleBug folder - Victorian maybe??
These little cuties are from Prairie Fairy. they wer meant to be two boys, but I saw them as a boy and a girl - probably because I had a son and a daughter - so that's what they became... The stamp is from on of my favorite stamp sets Simply Sweet Stamps. I used my snowflake embossing folder and dragged a white stamps pad across it.
The final card has both an image and a sentiment from Digis With Attitude. Again colored with my prismacolor pencils. I thought the sentiment and image worked perfectly with each other :)
So head on over Paper Playtime, see what the digi design team came up with, and be sure to play along :)

Still time to win...
Welcome to all my new followers, it was such a fun blog hop this weekend, with lots of great blog candy :) Anyone who is looking for my blog candy, can click right HERE and be sure to leave a comment.
Over the weekend my daughter and I completed most of her treat bags that I started for the blog hop. I only bought enough candy to make 17 bags, I will probably need to make another 10 or so for my daughter party/ sitters. My son thinks he wants some too, so I may need to make another 25 after that - yay me :)
So here are the ones I've made so far. Like I said, it is Cricutless - shocking, I know... The hearts are punches from Stampin Up, and Creative Memories. The topper is a 4x4 square of white paper, folded in half. The patterned paper is 3 3/4 x 2, and then punched out with an EK success edge punch.
The adorable faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps. The biggest and smallest hearts have stamps from Princess Faces and the middle one is from Basic Paperdoll Faces. I chalked, colored and doodled on them. I love how they turned out! This paper is from K and Co.
The pink ones are the ones I had finished for the blog hop. The pink paper is from Stampin Up.
I haven't got a clue where this cute XO paper came from. I found it in my stash of unused patterned paper, and knew it would be perfect for this project.
Doesn't this bag look yummy? Candy corn, gum drops, jelly beans and lots and lots of Hersheys kisses. Yummy!!
Challenges:
Let's Face it Fridays - Xs and Os and PKS
Charisma Cardz - valentines
If the Shoe Fits - anything goes, except cards
Polka Doodles - party time
Craft Your Days Away - love
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle - get punchy
Cupcake Inspirations - inspiration photo

Bitten By the Love Bug Blog Hop!!
Welcome to Purple Monkey Moments and the Bitten By The LOVE BUG Blog Hop!
If you've come from visiting Rebecca at Creations With Becka, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Inking It Up Crazy and start at the beginning. We would love to share a few projects and ideas with a valentine theme with you!
I had a hard time deciding what to do for this hop, so i decided to do 2 different projects. My first project is a set of 3x3 valentines cards:
I had planned to make a set of 10 cards, but ended up with a set of 11. Every card but one uses an image from Create a Critter, and every card, but one uses a stamp from the Simply Sweet Stamps set.
The paper is from a variety of sources, the cardstock is from Stampin Up, CTMH and my stash. The patterned paper is from K and Co, DCWV, Cricut and CTMH. The ribbon is from Michaels.
The fabulous "You are TREE-mendous" stamp is from a set by Scrappy Moms Stamps.
The rocket is the only image not from CAC. It is from Boys Will be Boys, and yes, it's upside down... The stamp was a little bigger than I had thought, and the only way I could make it fit, was to have it pointing down. SO it's a rocket on re-entry :)
Here is the little bag I made to hold my cards. I cut it from Forever Young as large as I could on my 12x12 mat. "Cards" is cut from Robotz - any of you who visit my blog regularly will know that it is my favorite chunky font.
Here is back of the card bag. The heart is from Create a Critter. When it was done, I felt it was missing something, so I did all the doodling.
The little bag, with all the cards inside.
I made envelopes for all the little cards with my Martha Stewart Score Board. I love that thing!! I used two Scrappy Moms Stamps on the envelope, SWAK on the back, and the cute little heart from the same set on the front - I didn't post a pic of that, i figure this post is pic heavy enough already!
On to project number 2. My daughter wanted some treat bags for her family birthday party, which is next week, and for her friends at her sitter for Valentines day. Here is what I came up with for both events:
Cute, eh? I want to make a project without my Cricut (GASP!!!) The topper is a 4x4 square, scored at 2 inches. The pink paper is 2x 3 3/4. Once it was punched with my EK Success edge punch, it is the perfect size. The hearts are punches. The largest is a Stampin Up Punch, and the 2 smaller, are Creative Memories punches.
Aren't those faces just precious?? The are from Peachy Keen Stamps. I used 2 stamps from Princess Faces and one from Basic Paper Doll Faces. I chalked them up a little, and colored them with my Stampin Up markers, and a white gel pen. I just LOVE these, I think it turned out so cute!!
On to my blog candy!! I am giving away the Everday Sentiments by Stampology. I think I need to get one of these myself!! So, how do you win this stamp set? Two simple steps:
a) Become a follower of my blog.
b) Leave me a comment on this post. You have till Monday at 10pm EST to leave a comment. I will post the winner on Tuesday. Good luck everyone :)

Flaunt it Fridays and a Blog Hop...
Happy Friday! I wanted to let you all know that tomorrow I will be in a blog hop that Kassidy put together. We have been Bitten by the Love Bug! I can't wait - I will have some blog candy too, so be sure to pop on by!
Over at Flaunt it Fridays the challenge is to use Paper Pups Border Feature Dog & Cat page 104 from your handbook. Paper Pups is not a cartridge I own, so I changed it up a little and used Sweethearts. I think this may be the Valentines Day card I use for my son. He loves cats.
The heart is from George and Basic Shapes, the animals are from Sweethearts. the "I woof you" stamp is from my Simply Sweet Stamps. I ran the heart through my Swiss Dots embossing folder and used black ribbon from Michaels. This is a fast and easy card to make.
Hop on over to FIF to see what everyone created, and I hope you play along with us, this months winner gets a Birthday bash cartridge!
Some challenges:
Scrappy Moms - sweetheart cartridge
A Spoonful of Sugar - valentines
Creatalicious - love and ribbon
SEI Challenge with Abby - all about love
Lexi Creations - valentines

Happy Birthday
Good morning everyone. It is a double challenge day for me. If you are looking for my Cricut Cardz Challenge submission click HERE. Today at Cooking With Cricut the challenge was to come up with a Birthday related project. This was a no-brainer for me. My daughter turns 5 one week from today, so I made a project for her, and here it is:
Pretty cute, eh? She is obsessed with Ariel, and has been for over a year. So I used Disney's Dream Come True cartirdge, and cut Ariel big - 4.5 inches. Some of the pieces were still really small! I cut the Happy 5th Birthday from Robotz. I designed everything on my Gypsy girl, to make sure everything fit. The patterned paper is from a stack I bought YEARS ago, when the Michaels first opened near us. The rest of the paper is from SU. I blinged up her flower, and I think my daughter will love it!
So, hop on back to CWC, get inspired by the Design Team, and paly along with us :)
Some challenges:
Paper Playtime - party
The Crafty Pad - something girly
Sarah Hurley - birthday girl
Alphabet Challenge Blog - L for ladies
The ABC Challenge - M for magical
The Crazy Challenge - dots and stripes (in the background paper)
Prairie Fairy Fridays - birthday
Creative Inspirations Challenge - celebrations
Made by Momo Challenge - princess theme

Flaunting a can...
Sorry about this post being late, I have been getting all messed up working nights, I never seem to know what day it is :) Today is Friday, which means it's Flaunt it Friday!! Today we are flaunting the bear in the trash can from Give a Hoot. I don't own that cartirdge, so here is waht I came up with:
I cut the bag from Plantin schoolbook, and oscar is from the Sesame Street cartridge. The name is cut with Robotz, my favorite chunky font. The stamp is from my Scrappy Moms Stamps - love them! The paper is from my SU stash and the ribbon from Michaels.
The prize this month, for one lucky person is Birthday Bash! Certainly a prize worth playing for :) So hop on over to Flaunt It Fridays and check out the inspiration all the DT members came up with, and then play along with us!
Some challenges:
Paper Cutz Challenge - anything goes

Stamp Something - something cute

Flowers, flowers everywhere!
Nova Scotia is clutched in winter's grip, so today's challenege over at Cooking with Cricut gave me some hope that spring may eventually come. The challenge was to create a project with at least three flowers. Here's mine:
The flowers on this card are from Forever Young. there are some great flowers on this card! The sentiment is from My favorite Thing's Pure Innocence line. The cuttlebug folder I think is called Victorian, but I will have to double check. I used Threading water punch from Fiskars, the ribbon is from michaels and the paper is from my stash... oops :) Brigitte is right, the Cuttlebug folder IS Divine Swirls, not Victorian.
Head on over to CWC and see what the rest of the DT came up with, and then play along - see if being springy helps you feel less winter blahs!
Some challenges:
If the Shoe Fits - picture inspiration
2 Sisters - flowers
Fairy Tale Challenges - flowers
Tellens Place - ribbon
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - flowers

Love :)
Good morning! It is challenge day over at Paper Playtime. The challenge today was to use the word "love" on your project. With Valentines Day creeping up on us quickly it is the perfect challenge for me. Here is what I came up with:
The word "love" is from Home Decor. I welded it to a frame from Storybook on my Gypsy. The paper is all from Stampin Up except the patterned paper. I have had a small scrap of that paper in my scrap pile for YEARS. It just measred 4 x 5 1/4, barely large enough, but it worked - unfortunately I have no clue who it's from...
I hope you all pop over to Paper Playtime to see what the design team came up with, and play along with us, our sponsor this week for a $10.00 Gift Certificate to their store is MICHELLE'S SCRAPBOOKING & MORE!

Flaunt It Friday
The challenge this week at Flaunt It Fridays is to use the skull from Mini Monsters in a non-Halloween way. I have an eight year old son, and he LOVES skulls. So I decided to make him something. This is what I came up with:
Cute eh? So I designed the door hanger on George and Basic Shapes, and made a shadow. I welded it all together on my Gypsy, and made sure everything fit. I then found out that there was a door hanger on TBBM - oh well, that'll teach me not to check my cartridges first :) The no girls allowed sign is from Boys Will be Boys. the paper is all from Stampin Up.
My son loves it! My 4 year old daughter hates it!! She has twice threatened to rip it off his door when it was closed and he told her to read the sign... oh the joys :) I think I'm going to make her one for her door. I now just need to find a no boys allowed sign :)
Hope on over to Flaunt It Fridays and see how the rest of the team flaunted it this week, and then play along with us!

Hello Kitty Hop Winner and an Award
Well it is a snowy and windy day here is Nova Scotia. The Noreaster that blew up the coast of the US has hit Canada. We are expecting about a foot of snow before tomorrow morning. I am extremely pleased I'm not working tonight! So on to my bloggy stuff...
First the winner from the Hello Kitty Hop:
Glora said...
Your LO looks great and that card is SUPER sweet. I really love that Hello Kitty and umbrella cut.
Congrats Glora, I will be contacting you soon :)
Over the weekend the wonderful Jenifer over at Honeybean Creations gave me this award, wasn't that sweet of her?
I am so honored that Jenifer chose me. Thanks girlie :)
So, how this award works... From what I understand, to qualify, for a $5 gift certificate from Digis With Attitude, all winners of this award, need to:
1) Nominate five bloggers and let them know about this award
2) List in a post the three things that give you and your blog attitude
3) Display the blog award in your sidebar and link it back to Digi's with Attitude.
So, the 5 bloggers I am passing this on to:
Ruthie from September Ninth
Cristi from Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes
Lauren from 40:31 Creations
Nicole from Canadian Nickel Scrap'n
Gigi from The Cricut Bug
Now onto the 3 things that give me and my blog attitude... truth be told I haven't got a clue :) But let's give it a shot:
I love to try new crafting techniques.
I love to read other people's blogs and learn from them, most of the creations you see on my blog are inspired by may of you :)
I read and treasure every comment I get. It means so much that others take the time to look at my little creations, and comment on them.
Well, that's it for today. Tomorrow we will be digging out from under the snow...

Red, White and Black...
It is Wednesday, which means it is challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenges. Todays challenge was to make a card using any cartridge, but only red, white and black. Gotta love the color challenges :) Here is what I came up with:
Isn't she cute?? The skull is from Rock Princess, the stamps form Scrappy Moms and the patterned paper is from CTMH. The reamining paper is all form my scrpa box, I'm trying to use some of it up :) The ribbon was purchased at Michaels. It is a little bit sparkly and shimmery in real life, which I jus love for this card - I think it is perfectly girly!
I hope you pop on over to Cricut Cardz Challenges to see what the rest of DT#2 has come up with. And then join us by creating your own red, black and white card!
I will be back late today with my winner from the Hello Kitty Blog hop. I'm sorry, it was meant to be posted on Tuesday, but I have worked the last few 12 hour nights and just haven't gotten around to it. But I promise, TODAY :)

I will be back late today with my winner from the Hello Kitty Blog hop. I'm sorry, it was meant to be posted on Tuesday, but I have worked the last few 12 hour nights and just haven't gotten around to it. But I promise, TODAY :)

Hello Kitty Blog Hop!
Hello Welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog Hop. If you are here from Stephanie's blog than you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go directly to the Flaunt It Friday's. For this week's challenge we were asked to flaunt the Hello Kitty with Airplane on Page from the Hello Kitty Greeting Cart. Hello Kitty is one of my favorite characters, and now that I have a little girl, she love Hello Kitty too! I made this project for pictures of her:
The plane is from HKG and is cut at 3.5 inches. The title, which I love - I think it is so fun and punny - is cut from Robotz at 1 inch. The Robotz font is my favorite chunky kid font. The patterned paper is from a K and Co Christmas stack, most of the cardstock is from the rainbow cricut 6 x 12 pad, that DH bought me 3 years ago when I first got my baby bug, the white a black paper is from Walmart - just the cheap stuff :)
Here is a close up of Hello Kitty, with a glittery bow... isn't she cute??
Here is a close up of the title, all glittered up with my stickles. Gotta love stickles :)
Now for my second project we got to choose any cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings and I chose the umbrella cut, and made a card, using one of my favorite stamp sets. Here it is:
Cute eh?? I cut Helle Kitty at 3.2 inches - some of the cuts were pretty small - her nose, the tips of the umbrella - it was a bit of a challenge. The sentiment is from my Scrappy Moms Stamps, and I think it is just perfect with this cut! I used the Cuttle Bug Seeing Spots folder, and the paper and ribbon were all from Stampin Up.
So, on to my blog candy. Today I am giving away this set of cute heart stamps:
