Hello Kitty Party Week - Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of Hello Kitty Party week! Pinterest was a great source of ideas for me. We don't have as much Hello Kitty stuff here in Canada as there seems to be in the US - at least not that I could find. I ended up making almost all the party things. I wanted the girls to have a Hello Kitty Goody bag. Shockingly I couldn't find one here, but then I found THIS on Pinterest. I knew I could make that for the girls. We decided to make it one of the party activities. The girls would all design and make their own Hello Kitty goody bag!

So, this was the sample bag I made for the girls. I used my Gypsy girl to make all the parts. everything is cut from George and Basic Shapes. I made ovals for the eyes, 2 slightly smaller ovals for the nose, one cut in black and the other in yellow. The whiskers are made of skinny rectangles. I made the bow by welding together 2 rounded triangles with a circle in the middle. I cut out ons of these! As you will see over the next few days, I used these bows alot! I bought the bags at Walmart.

Here is what the girls came up with. Tell me that's not ADORABLE!! Their goody bags were filled with lots of Hello Kitty stuff and a candy kabob that they made. Fun, fun, fun!

A challenge or two:
If the Shoe Fits - anything goes
Craft Us Crazy - anything goes
Moving Along With the Times - cute critters
Alphabet Challenge - animal antics
CAS-ual Fridays - paper piecing (this may be a bit of a stretch...)

A la prochaine...
